I’m a Technical Manager with 14+ years in full-stack development and engineering leadership, currently building and running teams across Python, Django, FastAPI, Ruby on Rails, and React. This blog is where I write up the backend architecture, system design, and design-pattern problems I actually run into leading production systems — not tutorials copied from documentation.
My background spans back-end architecture (REST APIs, microservices, PostgreSQL, Docker), cloud infrastructure on AWS, and CI/CD pipelines, alongside leading and mentoring engineering teams of up to 32 people — spanning DevOps, full-stack, QA, and UI/UX. I care about the same thing whether I’m writing code or reviewing a PR: does this hold up at scale, and can the next engineer reason about it in six months.
Recent focus: building products from architecture through to shipped feature, creating high-performing engineering teams that own outcomes rather than just tickets, and applying AI to make engineering and support workflows faster — from triage automation to smarter tooling for the team.
